This was a terrible movie. I would never recommend going to see. I can't believe I went to see it. I actually walked out half way through. A terrible movie. Very repetitive and boring. Never go and see it.

One of the stupidest, insipid movies I have ever seen. A laborious exercise of banality to have to sit through! Saddens me to see Donald Sutherland that hard up to take on such a role. The movie would be more aptly entitled "Fools Go"!!

Too predictable, very boring and not that funny (with the exception of the part of Donald Sutherland's daughter) There were lots of long sequences were absolutely nothing happened. Not even Matthew McConaghey with his shirt off 99% of the time could save it.

The movie is pretty good. I don't know why some people say that they left earlier, because it was fun and pretty interesting. Yes it is purely a Hollywood movie with good ending and... well everything Hollywood style. But the movie is pretty good i would watch it again and I suggest you do too:)

I feel like this movie was made for 12 year olds. The story line is boring and predictable, the acting is so-so, there is no sex scenes. I thought I'd see it because even if the story sucked there are still pretty people and pretty places in it, but even Matthew McConaughey was a let down... he just looks old and tired in this movie!

I really enjoyed this movie. Yes, very predictable but fun to watch. Mathew and Kate are great together. And I thought the story line was good, a little cheesy, but good.

The movie was fun, there were good guys and bad guys and they acted in the prescribed ways that good guys and bad guys act. The Good have morals and the Bad act immorally and do bad things, like shoot people to death. The actors were good, Donald Sutherland didn't have many lines but he read them well and with dignity. Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey were beautiful people and fit enough for the job of treasure hunters so they fit that bill. Scenery was nice, lots of nice beach, the same one more or less but nice enough you think. The Yacht was large and boating... let's face it, a nice movie. Not too different than Sahara, except Steve Zahn is missing and the bad guys I referred to are for the most part ridiculous and few... If your going to heist 500 million in gold why not hire one or three more guns for hire? A nice cute fun movie to watch and laugh over and then forget about for the rest of your life until you see another movie similar to it and then you are reminded of it for about... the time it takes to chuckle and then you drop it fast. Mistigush.

What a let down... a movie really not worth seeing, according to the commercials I figured that I would get a few laughs... nothing... they played every funny part of the movie on the commercials, unless you want to seriously fall asleep, do NOT go and see this movie!!!

I would perhaps recommend this movie as a renter. Unfortunately, I just didn't find it very exciting. I thought that Kate and Matthew were not really a good couple and therefore, I could not really get into the movie very much.

You'll be the fool if you go and see this. Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey again? They stink, this movie is yet another bad example of why they shouldn't use the same people with poor chemistry. This movie should be called "How I lost My Money in 90 minutes of Watching Mathew play yet another beach bum treasure hunter. Haven't we seen him in this type already and weren't we sickened then too? And sadly, the younger version of Goldie Hawn, she's just as lousy an actress as her mother has always been. DO NOT waste your money on this BOMB!

The story is dumb, the humor is dumb, the acting is dumb. Don't sacrifice several hundred brain cells on this one. They tried to get you to laugh but there was nothing funny to laugh about! Maybe, on a boring night with nothing else to do you could rent it.
